This new shape from Herend lends itself perfectly to creating this textured, layered masterpiece. Putting a spotlight on popular members of the avian chorus, the songbird ginger jar highlights a robin, warbler and chickadee resting between performances while sitting on a branch. Adding movement to the piece is a dramatic, undulating layer of mosaic fishnet painted in saturated, rich colors which seem to move and shimmer thereby making the birds seem to vibrate in anticipation of singing their next note.
