The colors, ridges and patterns found on a tortoise’s shell usually work to conceal the turtle and make him less conspicuous. In the case of this member of the Reserve Collection, either the tortoise spends all of his days frolicking in a meadow hiding out among flowers and wild berries or then he is abandoning his camouflage strategy. Who could blame him if it was the latter since such beautiful applied and painted details would make any turtle come out of his shell! Handmade and handpainted porcelain from Hungary with 24k gold accents.
